From Oliver Seiler:

I've come across bits and pieces mentioning IPv6 in the SDKs, but never tried
anything myself. You might hit the boundaries of the arduino-esp32 framework
quite quickly and having to move to ESP-IDF instead (which is entirely
possible but a much more complex toolchain). Some of the libs I'm using
probably won't supprt IPv6 either and might need patching.
